Become a Member of SIR Branch 34

Are you a retired or semi-retired man living in the Tri-Valley area? Whether you’ve lived in Pleasanton or Livermore for decades or just moved here to be closer to family, finding a new social circle can be a challenge.

As we like to say: “Does your wife tell you that you need to get out of the house and do more?” If so, you’re in good company. We are a group of active seniors who have traded the “work grind” for golf clubs, poker chips, and great conversation.

Why Join SIR Branch 34?

Unlike many other organizations, SIR has no requirements for fundraising, charitable work, or political involvement. We exist solely to provide our members with social activities and lasting friendships. When you join Branch 34, you get:

  • Monthly Social Luncheons: Held at the San Ramon Golf Club featuring fascinating guest speakers.
  • Activity Groups: Access to our Golf tournaments, Bocce ball, Poker nights, Wine tastings, and the “Beer Group.”
  • Morning Connections: Weekly coffee and breakfast meetups at local favorites like Vic’s and Denica’s.
  • A “No Pressure” Environment: Participate as much or as little as you like. There are no mandatory attendance rules.

Membership & Dues

Membership is affordable and straightforward. For 2026, our annual dues are just $40. These dues cover our administrative costs and help us maintain the high quality of our monthly speakers and branch events.

The best way to see if SIR Branch 34 is right for you is to attend one of our monthly luncheons as a guest or meet us for coffee.
