John Roberts Big Sir
Dear Fellow Sirs,
November starts the holiday season with Veterans Day and keeps it going with Thanksgiving. We certainly will honor our veterans next week at the luncheon. We hope all of you who are veterans will bring and wear your service caps. We are not the only one honoring Veterans. Many retail outlets and restaurants are offering discounts and free meals to those who have served. Among those I have found are Denny’s , Chili’s, California Pizza Kitchen, Red Lobster, Applebee’s , BJ’s, Peet’s Coffee, Red Robin, etc. These all offer free meals on November 11 with military ID. Go to military.com for a complete list of merchants.
Also check out military.ggu.edu for a list of activities around the Bay Area on Veterans Day weekend.
There’s even free admission to the Charles Schulz museum in Santa Rosa if you’re a Peanuts fan.
See below to hear more about our special Veteran’s Day luncheon program.
Happy Thanksgiving to all of you and your families.
