SIR 34 September Newsletter
Big SIR
Jack Parker
It’s hard to believe that September is already here and that our summer is just about over. Before you know it, we will all be at Castlewood for another great Christmas party. So be sure to mark December 6th on your calendars.
At this month’s meeting, we will be electing our new Little Sir and the Board of Directors for 2018. The Board will present a slate, but nominations from the floor will be welcome. Anyone interested in serving should notify me or any other Board member.
Each month Ron Jensen sends out an email reminder, asking that those who can’t attend the meeting that month, please let him know. Each month we have a number who ignore the request. This costs the club money as we do have a guarantee to meet. If you can’t make a meeting, that’s OK. Just let Ron Know.
I want to thank Jim Benham for sending out that very informative email to the membership. Maybe he will do a follow up with news and contacts of additional activities.
Always keep in mind that if you bring a guest, their 1st lunch is free. If they later become a member of Sir, you receive a nice bottle of wine.
See you all on the 7th,
Jack Parker

Dance Carl Churilo
The weather is getting much cooler in the evening nowadays. So, there is no excuse that it is too hot to dance. Majority of the dance places have A/C and huge fans. And with the temperature dropping it makes it real comfortable for dancing. So, come out and join us and if you want to learn a few simple steps we can help.
Below are dance places which I feel are very good and reasonably:

Don Roberts
Any questions about Camera Club get in touch with Don Roberts at 846-5145 or email [email protected]
